Predisperser for High-Resolution Grating Spectrographs

Abstract

A predispersing device designed for use with grating spectrographs used in high orders is described Some basic considerations are pointed out, and the uses of the predisperser with Fabry-Perot interferometers and as an order sorter are discussed.
