Abstract
The transmittance of thirty-one optical materials is given from 0.17 μ to 3.0 μ. Included are NaCl, KBr, CsBr, CsI, CaF2, BaF2, NaF, TlBr, TlCl, KRS–5, KRS–6, T–12, KC, CuC, T O2, ADP, KDP, SrTiO3, GaP, CaCO3, CdSe, As2S3, ruby, Al2O3, Irtran 1–6, and quartz. All are synthetic with the exception of CaCO3. In many cases, the short wavelength cutoff of the synthetic materials is less than that which has been reported for naturally occurring materials.
