Abstract
Three normal frequencies, nine anharmonic force constants, and the moment of inertia of isotope CO2 molecules are determined from spectroscopic data on 12C16O (see Table I). These constants are used in predicting the wavelengths of various transitions for different isotopic substituted carbon dioxide. Comparisons are with those observed experimentally. Using the predicted wavelength of P(20) absorption coefficient, the atmospheric transmission of 12C18O2 laser radiation is also calculated.
