Abstract

Using as an example the authors' own developments, this paper demonstrates a number of approaches for the efficient use of diffraction optical elements. Special attention is directed to the possibility of and conditions for suppressing the wavelength dependence of the diffraction efficiency of the relief-phase structures of such elements.
