Abstract

Two new materials have emerged with high nonlinear coefficients and high thermal conductivites which extend the operating range of ZGP: CdSiP2, allows for shorter wavelength (1064nm) pumping whereas orientation-patterned gallium arsenide (OPGaAs) enables 8-12µm generation.
