Development of Dual-Wavelength Injection-Locked Pulsed Laser and its Application to Generation of an Ultrahigh- Repetition-Rate Train of Ultrashort Pulses

Abstract

An injection-locked pulsed Ti:sapphire laser oscillating at dual-wavelengths is shown. It is demonstrated based on this novel laser system that a 10-THz ultrahigh-repetition-train of short pulses is successfully generated with a duration of 20 fs.
