Single Mode All-Fiber Pulse-Pumped Raman Amplifier for Picosecond Pulses

Abstract

A Raman amplifier for 1064 nm picosecond pulses pumped by a pulsed fiber amplifier at 1020 nm is demonstrated. An amplification of 32 dB and high peak power conversion of 99 % are achieved.
