Characterization of dentin and enamel by polarization sensitive optical coherence tomography

Abstract

We present characterization of dentin and enamel as well as dental caries using polarization sensitive optical coherence tomography (PS - OCT). The results may provide useful information for detection of dental caries in both enamel and dentin.
