Microfluidic Sorting System Based on Waveguide Integration and Diode Laser Bar Trapping

Abstract

We demonstrate integrated optical particle sorting in microfluidic structures. Fluorescent particles are excited using an integrated waveguide network and manipulated with a diode laser bar trapping scheme that sorts based upon their fluorescence.
