Development of a New Sensitive and Rapid Detection Method of Specific DNA Sequences

Abstract

Sensitive detection of DNA sequences is experimentally demonstrated by attaching magnetic beads to fluorescent-labeled DNA probes and applying alternating magnetic field gradient. This enables to eliminate the scattering noise from the solution by synchronous detection.
