Abstract

We have developed a novel photoacoustic microscopy technique, Transient Ultrasonic Absorption Microscopy, which achieves all optical spatial resolution by fusing pump-probe spectroscopy with photoacoustic microscopy. This technique has the potential to enable cellular/subcellular photoacoustic imaging.
