Abstract

We overview fluorescence lifetime techniques for tissue diagnostics and approaches to merging these techniques with ultrasound backscatter microscopy and photoacoustic imaging. Such hybrid system allow for complex tissue characterization at biochemical, morphological, and functional levels.
