Abstract
Supercontinuum generation in a microstructure fiber with six submicron-diameter cores, surrounding a larger central core, is demonstrated. Such a microstructure-fiber design is promising for increasing the total energy of supercontinuum emission and fabricating microstructure-integrated arrays of small-core high-index-step fibers with large lengths.
