Abstract

The efficiency of polymer light emitting diodes is remarkably high considering the simplicity of the device fabrication when compared to other organic or inorganic diodes. The diode performance will be presented together with the results from the latest device modeling to explain how a polymer diode operates and what may be done to improve it further.
