Integrated Microcavity Klystrons for Generating High Power Coherent Terahertz Radiation

Abstract

Theoretical and experimental results are presented to show that integrated microcavity klystrons can be used to generate high power (1-100 mW) coherent radiation in the 0.5-2.0 THz frequency range at room temperature.
