Diffraction from Arbitrarily Deformed Volume Holograms

Abstract

We present experimentally and analyze the volume hologram response to deformation due to a point indenter. The results show the emergence of multiple peaks in the diffraction pattern, explained as the dominant frequency components of the deformed gratings.
