Fabrication of visible three dimensional gap photonic crystals with electron beam direct write approach

Abstract

We demonstrate a three dimensional photonic crystal that can have a complete three dimensional gap in the visible frequency composed of titanium dioxide rods with a periodicity of 350nm, smallest fabricated to date .
