Focusing of Surface Plasmon Polaritons by Surface Parabolic Dielectric Gratings

Abstract

Focusing of surface plasmon polaritons by parabolic dielectric gratings formed on top of a 100nm thick Au film has been studied. Complex interference effects are observed in a “cavity” between two sets of parabolic gratings.
