Atomic Oxygen Detection Using Radar REMPI

Abstract

We use a microwave scattering based resonantly enhanced multi-photon ionization scheme for monitoring the concentration of oxygen atoms in a flame. This technique allows for remote investigation of concentration of atomic species with nanosecond resolution.
