Remote Instantaneous Frequency Measurement System using Optical Mixing in Highly Nonlinear Fiber

Abstract

A novel instantaneous frequency measurement using all optical mixing is demonstrated. This system can provide RF frequency measurement while requiring no high speed electronic components and remoting all components of the measurement system to the receiver.
