Second-Order Nonlinearity Distribution in a Doped Silica Glass Multilayered Structure

Abstract

Corona poling of a multilayered stack of phosphorus-doped and undoped silica glass layers on a fused silica substrate results in the formation of two 8 μm-wide nonlinear regions located near both surfaces of the sample.
