Plasmon Enhanced Cultivation of Cyanobacteria for Bioenergy

Abstract

A method of cell cultivation is presented in which photosynthetic cyanobacteria cells are grown by excitation of their photocenters by a plasmon enhanced evanescent field on the surface of thin gold films.
