Abstract

We present mid-infrared frequency comb generation from crystalline MgF2 microresonators, with mode spacing of 50-150 GHz around the 2.5 µm-wavelength CW-pump. Low phase-noise is verified by beating the comb modes with a narrow linewidth CW laser.
