Terahertz plasmonic waveguide based on periodically structured silicon surface

Abstract

We experimentally investigated terahertz (THz) plasmonic waveguides on heavily doped silicon surface structured with sub-wavelength pillars. We study the propagation properties of the resonant modes and their dependence on dopant concentration and structural parameters.
