Defocus-invariant Blur by Using Spectrum Coding

Abstract

Defocus-invariant blur is obtained by specifying chromatic focal shift vs. wavelength dependence which provides the best match to the spectral response of an electronic imaging system. Impact on thermal IR and fluorescence imaging is discussed.
