Frequency content of the double-helix PSF for 3D microscopy in the presence of spherical aberration

Abstract

We examine the Fourier content of the double helix point-spread function (DH-PSF) by computing the DH optical transfer function (OTF). DH-OTFs are compared to OTFs of conventional fluorescence microscopy in the presence of spherical aberration.
