Simulation of Oblique-Incidence Probe Geometries for Depth-Resolved Fluorescence Spectroscopy

Abstract

Monte Carlo simulations were performed to investigate the optical behavior of oblique- incidence probes used in fluorescence spectroscopy. Selective interrogation can be achieved and varied for a range of depths within 0.5 mm of the surface.
