Abstract

Multiwavelength device combining methods of conventional pulse oximetry and NIRS is developed. The portable system allows to measure heart pulse rate, blood oxygen saturation and local absolute concentration of oxyhemoglobin, deoxyhemoglobin, other IR absorbed compounds.
