FTIR characterization of scaled-up photonic crystal structures

Abstract

Micron-scale, two-dimensional photonic crystal devices fabricated using standard microelectronics technology can be used as a step in the development of sub-micron-scale devices. Transmission and reflection spectra are obtained for micron-scale devices using FTIR microspectroscopy.
