Intraocular Camera Design for Retinal Prostheses

Abstract

A novel miniaturized intraocular video camera for use in conjunction with an epiretinal microstimulator array as a retinal prosthesis has been designed, optimized for low pixel resolution, fabricated, surgically implanted in a canine, and characterized.
