Meta-Structured diffractive optics: concepts and applications

Abstract

Nano-optics is interpreted as an extrapolation of diffractive optics aimed at increasing the degrees of freedom for design. Structuring optical materials simultaneously at different length scales is introduced as a fundamental paradigm.
