Modeling and Experimental Measurement of Scattering Effects in a High Parallel Fiber Imaging System

Abstract

An array of 14.5μm diameter fibers is fabricated for coherent medical imaging applications. Signal strength and scattering levels from intralipid solutions are modeled using Monte Carlo propagation and verified with experimental measurements.
