Abstract

We describe a new instrument combining adaptive optics ophthalmoscopy and fluorescence imaging. The instrument is capable of imaging retrograde labeled ganglion cells, intrinsic fluorescence from retinal pigment epithelial cells, and individual capillaries in intravenous fluorescein injections in vivo.
