Abstract

The frequency of a quantum-dot strongly coupled to a photonic-crystal cavity was electrically controlled. Electro-optic modulation (150MHz) of a coherently coupled probe laser is demonstrated. Operation at 10GHz and 1fJ/bit are achievable with this device.
