Generation of low beam divergence harmonics using a long gas jet

Abstract

We experimentally demonstrated using a long argon gas jet that balancing plasma defocusing and diffraction with nonlinear self-focusing could lead to generation of harmonics with a beam divergence of 0.5 mrad.
