High energy optical parametric chirped pulse amplification in yttrium calcium oxyborate

Abstract

We report the high energy non-collinear optical parametric chirped-pulse amplification with yttrium calcium oxyborate. The amplified energy of 3.36J centered at 800nm was generated with pump of 35J. After compression, the pulse duration was 44.3fs.
