Abstract

Ultraspectral infrared measurements collected by are used along with AIRS cloud cleared retrievals and ECMWF analyses to derive effective cloud height and emissivity spectra. Effective cloud emissivity spectra are then used to demonstrate the inference of microphysical properties such as effective particle size, shape and optical thickness
