Electromagnetically-Induced Transparency and Squeezed Light

Abstract

We investigate propagation and storage of pulses of squeezed vacuum in rubidium vapor under the conditions of electromagnetically-induced transparency. Quantum states of retrieved pulses are characterized by optical homodyne tomography.
