Abstract

We present a dipole-antenna-enhanced Ge photodetector that shows 20 times photocurrent enhancement ratio between two orthogonal light polarizations at 1310 nm wavelength, and a spectral resonance characteristic of ~ half-wavelength antenna behavior.
