Abstract

The feasibility of Mid-Infrared (MIR) lasing in Erbium-doped Gallium Lanthanum Sulfide (GLS) micro-disks was investigated. Based on state-of-the-art Chalcogenides micro-disk resonators parameters, lasing was simulated and shown to be possible.
