Electromagnetically Induced Transparency-Like Exciton Nonlinear Absorption in Quantum Dots

Abstract

The absorption properties of an exciton-biexciton system are examined for quantum dots by single-dot photoluminescence spectroscopy. A strong exciton-biexciton coherent interaction causes electromagnetically induced transparency-like nonlinear exciton absorption.
