Seeded amplification of colored conical emission via spatiotemporal modulational instability

Abstract

Femtosecond upconversion was realized by seeded amplification of colored conical emission via spatiotemporal modulational instabilities in a thick quadratically nonlinear crystal, which could be widely tuned by adjusting the seed angle or delay.
