Relocalization of femtosecond laser pulses out of ionization regime in air

Abstract

We investigate post ionization regimes of femtosecond laser pulse propagating in the atmosphere. The role of group velocity dispersion and delayed-Kerr response in promoting the relocalization in time of pulse components is examined.
