The Role of Metaphosphate Glass Composition on Changes to the Glass Network Structure After Modification by Femtosecond Laser Pulses

Abstract

Changes to the glass structure after femtosecond laser modification have been studied in multiple metaphosphate glass systems using white light and laser microscopy. Results indicate initial glass structure is important to the resulting morphological changes.
