Abstract

In this paper we present our simple and affordable setup for laser locking of a diode laser. The setup combined Doppler-free spectroscopy and magnetically induced dichroism in atomic vapor. We use saturated absorption curves and a magnetic field to offset the two. The goal is to subtract the two offset signals in order to create an error signal on which to lock.
