Efficient Real-time Detection of Terahertz Pulse Radiation by “Listening to” Photoacoustic Generation

Abstract

We demonstrate real time terahertz detection based on its absorption by carbon nanotubes composite and detection of the generated photoacoustic signal. This method has advantages of real time response, compact size and wide spectrum response.
