Smoothing Out a Speckled Holographic Beam Pattern by Scanning of Laser Beam/Hologram

Abstract

The usual iterative Fourier transform algorithm causes speckles between the sampling points due to its random phase. By laser scanning the tiled holograms, the speckles were smoothed out and speckle-free images were obtained.
