Optical Channel Drop Filter Based on Two-Dimensional Photonic Crystals

Abstract

In this paper, we propose an optical channel drop filter based on two-dimensional photonic crystals (2D PCs). The numerical results show the drop efficiency is closed to 100% and the crosstalk is less than −36dB.
