Abstract
An ordinary three-wave mixing (TWM) process in standard or birefringent single-mode fibers commonly refers to the interaction of a central-frequency wave at frequency ω0 with a pair of upshifted (anti-Stokes) and downshifted (Stokes) sidebands at frequencies ω2 = ω0+Ω and ω1=ω0−Ω, respectively [1, 2].
