Cascading effects in periodically poled lithium niobate with an aperiodic domain

Abstract

Second harmonic generation experiments were carried out in a periodically poled lithium niobate crystal with an aperiodic domain. We investigated the quasi-phase matching characteristics, and compared them at low and high fundamental intensity levels.
